CHILDHOOD

A great saint is born on 1st January when the sun was rising at the home of Shri Komalchand Jain and Shrimati Mathuradevi Jain. They were living at Gondiya (Maharashtra). He was named Sushil by his parents. It was a big family and lack of financial resources forced the family to leave their native village Gondia and settled down at Chhatarpur. At this village too the luck did not favour the family financial crises. As a result the child Sushil did not have a childhood but it turned into a professional phase. He was a wise, clever and tolerent since his childhood and was so named as "Sushil"

He had education with problems but was active in all his college activities and graduated with P.S.C.. His lines of palms were showing him to attain the heights of Adhyatma (spirituality).

This came true when he received the chance to feed Adhyatma Yogi Saint Shiromani Acharya Vidyasagarji Maharaj in 1978. The vairagya of Acharya Vidyasagarji Maharaj, had a great effect in the mind of child Sushil and he made-up his mind to predecesses him. His mother was a religious lady so she admitted his vairagya emotions.

DIKSHA

Shree Sushil took seven months Brahmacharya vrit and had a great honour to Acharya Vidyasagar with a great passion towards the Adhyatma. He achieved Kshullak Diksha in November 1978 and Elak Diksha in 1980 at Nainagiri (M.P.). But he had an aim to achieve Pancha Mahavrit in his life. His emotions were so strong to achieve his goal that when he received a Darshan of Acharya Vimalsagarji Maharaj than the Great Acharya Vimalsagarji Maharaj sensed some great qualities in Alak Ksheersagar (Now Pushpdant Sagar) through his "Man Paryay knowledge" and started his studies for his advancement as a Muni. As Sushil was a great devotee with strong will power so just after 16 days of Elak Diksha he achieved his Muni Diksha and was named "Muni Pushpdant Sagar". Although he was younger in age but his thorough knowledge and deep experienceand personality which was showing him a true predecessor of fourth samkalin saint Shiromani Acharya Shree Vidyasagarji Maharaj. His simple and gentle language was feeding the ocean into a jar/pot and had a deep effect in the hearts of the villagers and as a result, other then Jains were also calling him the Vidyasagar of Chhattisgarh. His knowledge is a mobile encyclopaedia or a dictionery. His smiling face and deep knowledge can satisfy any person's curosity within a minute. While seeing his Sanyam (tolerance), Sadhana (efforts) and his love to the young generation he was awarded AcharyaShip (1985) at Gommat Giri Indore by Vimalsagarji Maharaj

History repeats itself" is a true proverb. History is being repeated, many centuries ago two Munis had taken Diksha by their Acharyas i.e. Pushpdant Sagar and Bhoot Bali. After a short time Bhootbali turned towards the south and Pushpadant Sagar turned towards the north. Bhootbali remained alone but Pushpdant Sagar wrote a great and first Mahagranth "Dhaval Jai Dhaval". The events repeated in a same manner, at present age and Pushpadant Sagar Maharaja wrote 250-300 books i.e. Tatvaavatar, Hum Dukhi Kyon, Nishya nahi Nishkarsh kaho, Mrityunjayi pravachan, Bhaktambar Kavya, Zhini ho gai chunariya, Bhagya aur Purusharth, Mahavir Mahavikas, Saurabh ke Suman, Bodhi Suman, Shata Laishya, Mere Mahavir, Anubhuti ke suman, Adhyatma aur Vigyan, Suman ke suman, Vishwa Itihas mai pehali bar, (Nepal Yatra), Lal kile per tis minute Ahinsa, Ahinsa mai antar, travelled (he does use vehicle but walks long way) along way through M.P., U.P., C.G., Rajasthan, Delhi, Bengal, Maharashtra.
